One day, a 24 year-old young man came to me for a Quantum Healing session and said that he didn’t know what he want to do in life. Yes, there’s a desire to do something, but his worry is way bigger than his gusto. He is uncertain whether he will feel passionate doing the profession that he might choose; sometimes the corporations set so high of a standard and often, the reality is different than what he has expected.
Young people often feel scared that later in the future, the job that they have chosen will not go in alignment with what they heart desire. However, as a matter of fact, even adults struggle to find what they really want to do in life.
Choosing to play computer games to runaway from the fear of making decision can only leave us feel lazier, feel useless and feel guilty towards ourselves and our parents or our closest family members.
The more you act, the more you will understand what you don’t want and what you actually want out of life. You will get to know more about yourself and your strengths.
Oftentimes, it is not the mood that will determine our action, it is our action that will determine our mood. Discipline is a necessity to keep us moving, but those who choose to quit are those who choose to let themselves die before their time. You will always find signs and insights as you go along your way; change is inescapable and absolute. But, if you just stay there inside your room and in front of your computer screen, what are you hoping for?
We both smiled. He has understood.
