Divine beings are known with different manifestations and different names. They are called as angels, guardian angels, spirit guide or spirit teacher, ascended masters, and various other terms.
When we talk about energy, everything is just a matter of frequency. Basically spirit guide doesn’t have a physical form because they are actually light beings. But in their manifestations in our human mind, spirit guide is commonly known under two forms, the human-like spirit guide and the animal-like one, which is usually called as power animal.
The human-like spirit guides are usually illustrated as wise men or women who embody divine qualities. They are kind, compassionate, charismatic, knowledgeable, and sometimes; they can be quite humorous, too. How they are illustrated in someone’s mind depends highly on someone’s belief system and background, how the manifestation can be accepted by the mind, and in accordance with the person’s current needs.
Human-like spirit guides usually have their own skills and fields of expertise. For example, there are experts in healing, herbs, crystals, divination, physical exercise or health, arts, family wellbeing, astronomy, trade and many more. It’s not rare that we can also meet famous figures who have passed away when we journey to meet the spirit guide. Let’s name a few: Mother Theresa, Walt Disney, Nostradamus, Ip Man, Leonardo da Vinci, and many more. Not only famous people, sometimes spirit guide can also take forms as our own selves but with different appearances, for example: a soldier, a princess, a dancer, a priest, or with enhanced qualities: more patient, more loving, more confident, etc.
For spirit guide, there’s no such thing as competition. They help us corresponding with what we need the most at this very moment and what is going on in our life right now.
If, for instance, our job or our life phase change, a spirit guide will sincerely feel that his job with you is done, and you will be accompanied by another spirit guide who suits you the most at this moment in time.
Other than the human-like spirit guide, we also recognize the animal-like spirit guide which is called as power animal.
Well, if the human-like spirit guide usually functions as a teacher, power animal takes role as our guardian, so much alike a bodyguard.
The presence of animal as a friend and a source of strength have been illustrated since ages in various ancient literatures, even in tales and other mythical stories all around the world. For example, Lord Vishnu has garuda as his vehicle; Prophet Muhammad SAW had buraq as his vehicle to accept the revelation of the holy book Al-Quran; Pegasus was ridden by Bellerophon against Chimera in Greek mythology.
Manifestations of power animal in someone’s mind are also quite diversed. It can be projected as a wild animal, extinct animal (dinosaur, quagga, javan tiger, etc.) and mythical animal (unicorn, dragon, elf, fairy, mermaid, Nessie or Loch Ness Monster, phoenix, big foot, yeti, werewolf, etc.). It can also manifest as an animal that we haven’t seen before, like a mix of certain number of animals. Even though it’s not impossible, power animal seldom takes form as pets, like dog and cat.
Well, actually, without us acknowleding our spirit guides, they too have automatically play gigantic roles in our lives. But, because our communication with the spirit guide is somehow “disconnected” or because we have become less intuitive, it becomes hard for us to listen, comprehend, or believe in the message we’ve received from the spirit guide. How awesome it’ll be if we can talk to them as friends — just like the olden days, like the stories we read in the Holy Scriptures. Spirit guide is our bridge to The Source, a reminder of who we are and where our origin is, our guidance on Earth. Let’s imagine if we can easily and frequently communicate with our spirit guide… Life can be much more fun, direct, and awesome, right?
