20 affirmations to live a joyful life everyday



Music tears down the boundaries between you and yourself. When we choose to listen, enjoy, and participate to blend in with the Music, at the same time, we surrender to the Source of Joy and Creativity. And we are becoming one with what we call God, the Source of it all. This is why Silvia and I bring Kirtan to you.. for you and all of us to experience this beautiful reunion.


Last week on August 20, we just had a Kirtan Saturday event. This time, the topic was “Sing Joy from the Heart” – an invitation for us to contemplate and again feel the joy and happiness in life. During Kirtan, together we sang and praised the names of God, we meditated, danced, laughed out loud, and we established kinship with many like-minded friends.




A happy heart is an instant pathway to connect and to be more alike with our Higher Self. A joyful heart enables us to live with more flexibility, freedom, and with clearer minds.

During Kirtan, we were encouraged to embrace our inner child and everyone in the room was very happy, light-hearted, loose, and free, even after the Kirtan has ended.


During one song, we also invited all friends to commit with themselves – to bring the joy they experienced during the Kirtan in every single day of their lives. There are 20 affirmations that we said out loud to love ourselves, people around us, and also the environment more. And because I love you so much, even though you might not have the chance to come to the Kirtan, you can also get the same joyful energy right at this very moment.


Read and repeat these every day, or whenever you want it, to remind you that joy and happiness are the actual basic ingredients of your creation, of why you’re here. And you deserve it; you are worthy to be happy every single second of your life.


1. I love myself the way I am
2. I am happy to be in my body.
3. I accept my past, present, and my future.
4. I feel happy, and hence, my body is healthy.
5. I deserve and worth to live a life full of happiness every single day.
6. I understand and accept the entire qualities of the people I love.
7. I am free to be myself the way I am.
8. Love is coming to me abundantly from all directions.
9. My body, mind, and soul are in alignment and in perfect harmony.
10. I am free to express myself based on my true calling.
11. Every cell in my body voices out, “joy… joy… joy…”
12. When I am happy, the people around me are also happy.
13. When I am full of love, the people around me are also feeling the warmth and light that I share.
14. I light heartedly forgive and release what is needed to be released.
15. When I am healed, people around me are also healed.
16. I am a little candle that lightens up the darkness of the world.
17. I am friendly, warm, fun, full of love, and always ready to help.
18. My happiness and smile are contagious.
19. The movement of my body is light, my thoughts are clear, my heart is boundless, and my soul is free.
20. I dance following the rhythm of the Universe, accept all that’s coming through my way with gratitude, great joy and happiness.
